Brand New

So, I have just made this blog and as you can tell I am quite new to all of this. My hopes for this blog is to help people and inspire them to do great things. I am stepping out on a limb to help myself achieve my goals that I have made and WANT to make reality. I have named my blog "Ask Audrey" in the hopes that you guys will come to me with health and fitness questions. I would say that I know quite a bit about it, especially because I immerse myself in it everyday; I have made it my life.

  1. I'm a little older, and so I know I need exercise daily to stay in shape. Sometimes I procrastinate throughout the day, though, until I am too tired to work out. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can get my workout in and not talk myself out of it?

  2. Some days I feel the same exact way. If you do feel that way more often than not you should make it a point to set your alarm a little bit earlier and go to the gym for even just 15-30 minutes. My mom always told me that a little was better than none. So, if you get your mind set that you can take 30 minutes out of your day to walk/run on the treadmill or whatever you like to do, it can really help you have more energy and want to keep going back. Also for me, once I get to the gym and in the exercise mode I get into my workout and end up being there for 45 minutes to an hour! I hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions!

  4. Well, the number one easiest way to not eat junk food is to not buy it or have it in the house! I love junk food as well, but I have just refrained from buying it at the stores or if I'm with friends. I usually just go the healthy route. It may be hard, but once you go a little while with not eating all the unhealthy stuff you don't crave it at much. Every now and then you can have something sweet. Also, if you like dark chocolate you should buy some because it can really help with a sweet craving and it has a lot of health benefits! But for me just saying no and not having ANY of it in my house is hands down the most helpful way to not eat the bad stuff.
